As a guitar player, I feel a pang of guilt when I walk past the guitar case on my way out the door because I feel like I should be practicing more... but do I ever stop to think about how the guitar feels? The guitar sits in its velvet coffin, dreaming of the melodies it could play and the fretboard gymnastics it could execute if only somebody would pick it up and play! This song is written from the guitar's perspective about how it feels to be locked away.
